My experience at "Plastic Surgery Vegas" practice has been amazing.Everyone I came in contact with was very welcoming and professional. I can not speak highly enough of Dr. Higgins and his close staff (Laura & Kristin). This was to be my 4th breast augmentation in 25years (my 1st with Dr. Higgins), which included reconstruction/lift due to wanting to go smaller with this surgery. After my initial consultation with Dr. Higgins, I felt very comfortable and confident to proceed, but as a nurse, I had a few more questions. His reception had no problem scheduling an additional appointment to address any additional concerns. In my career as a nurse, I have met and worked with many physicians over the years. I have come across very few surgeons as authentic, caring, skilled and talented as Dr. Higgins. I felt that Dr. Higgins really listened to me, and addressed my questions and concerns. As most people are,,,, I was nervous about the surgery but felt very taken care of by Dr. Higgins and his staff all the way into to O.R. and just prior to being put to sleep. In all of my previous surgeries, I had never been met with such attention and compassion up to and beyond my surgery. Additionally, my results are PHENOMENAL, and have far exceeded my expectations. I would trust & recommend Dr. Higgins, as well as "Plastic Surgery Vegas" not only to complete strangers, but to anyone I love and care about. I’ll start off by saying 10/10. I had at least five consultations with different doctors for a breast augmentation and labiaplasty. A handful of my close friends had gone to Dr. Edwards for their breast augmentations. Once I met with both him and Dr. Silver for my labiaplasty I knew I didn’t need to look any further. They sat with me for almost an hour each answering all of my questions. Most other doctors were in and out and didn’t give me the time of day. This was my first surgery and I wanted to do both at the same time. I wanted my breasts to be modest and unlike other doctors, Dr. Edwards supported my decision on size. I was petrified morning of. Truthfully, thought about canceling. Once I got there the entire team was SO comforting and nurturing. I’d do it all over again just based off the way they treated me. I’m post op day 5 and my recovery hasn’t been nearly as bad as I was told by friends. I’m already so happy with my results. They’ve followed up and made sure my post op appointments were regular. I came to Plastic Surgery Vegas (all the way from SoCal) to get a breast augmentation with a nipple lift on one side with Dr. Edwards. All I can say is it was an awesome experience. I heard of Plastic Surgery Vegas through a mutual friend who also got a breast aug. with Dr. Edwards and she looks amazing. It's been 4 weeks post op and I couldn't be happier. I had such an amazing and quick recovery. The team was very professional, welcoming and accommodating. They were very thorough with every step of the process. At the consultation, I actually got to talk to Dr. Edwards himself for over 20-30 minutes which was very surprising to me because every other consultation I go to, I barely get to speak with the surgeon himself. But Dr. Edwards sat me down to teach me so much about the surgery including the difference in sizes and shapes. He measured me and gave me his recommendation based on my goals and measurements. I LOVE that he recommended against going too big because all of the other doctors I went to didn't even tell me that those sizes would be too big. I'm glad Dr. Edwards can be honest and straight forward. With the pre-care, surgery process and aftercare, they were very thorough in telling me what I should do and what I shouldn't do. I really like that they gave me a bunch of vitamins prior to the surgery to prepare my body. I think that made a huge difference. I'm so happy with my results. They came out perfect and they look so natural. Prior to this whole process, I was nervous due to many friends talking about how they didn't like their results or because of the pain during the recovery or how long the recovery was but now that I've gone through the process my own self with a great surgeon I realized there's nothing to be scared of especially if you have a good doctor and that those negative experiences my friends went through were only because they chose a not-so-great surgeon. I previously had breast augmentation surgery done 10 years ago with Dr Edwards and loved him so much that I went back to him to get a revision. The minute I stepped into the office for my consultation, I noticed right away how nice and clean the lobby is and the front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Upon meeting Dr. Higgins, I knew this was the place to get my breast augmentation. They were extremely knowledgeable, professional, positive and I felt very safe. Had breast augmentation and lipo done March 2022. Loved office from consultation to post op visits. Dr. Silver really spent time with me to go over all my options make me feel comfortable and informed during my initial consult. Day of surgery all staff from nurse to anesthesiologist to doc were so great, helped me stay relaxed and excited for procedure. Surgery went beautifully and no complications. I am now 4 weeks post op just had my follow up visit. I am loving the way everything looks and couldn’t be happier. Overall staff are helpful, friendly and did not make me feel self conscious or anything like that. Dr silver’s attention to detail is obvious and I appreciate his lovely bedside manner as well. I can not even express how much I love Dr. Edwards. Before I met him I had 3 breast augmentation surgeries from different doctors and was experiencing capsular contracture every time. For this 4th surgery I really did my research and met with several doctors in Vegas and California and started feeling like I would have to go out of state to find a good doctor. I am beyond happy with my decision to go with Plastic Surgery Las Vegas because my entire experience with them has been INCREDIBLE. I got my breast augmentation in September, and from the time I met for a consultation to surgery day their team was on it! Not only does Dr Edwards have accolades that are quite impressive, but he does a phenomenal job educating and helping you feel comfortable which really put me at ease that I was in the right hands. Initially I had plans to go to other consultations and speak with more plastic surgeons before making a decision, but I didn't see a need- Dr Edwards had it all! He really took his time with me and gave his suggestions of what I told him I wanted, and the end result fit my body perfectly. To be transparent- I couldn't decide on what specific CC size I wanted even up until the day-of surgery. So it was important for me to work with a plastic surgeon who could give me natural looking breasts (yet still bigger in size), and Dr Edwards delivered exactly that. I am in love with the work he did! And even though I am still in my recovery period, I can honestly say it's been looking better and better each day. I decided to see board-certified, Dr. Edwards based by his years of experiences and his past patients reviews. He helped me understand the anatomy of my chest. He explained in full colorful details what is expected before and after the surgery. October 12th was my big day!! I checked-in nervous. The moment Dr. Edwards walked in, after we went over what was to come. I will never forget what he told me. “You are in good hands, I will make them pretty, and you will be happy!!” I am 9 weeks and 1 day post op. They’re not just pretty…. Mines are perfectly pretty!!!! Recalling back after my surgery. I didn’t have any bruising. I don’t remember feeling pain. I mean… I did feel pain. I’d say 3 out of 10. Tightness that I felt, which is normal. I was told to rest and take care of me. The office is clean. The restroom are clean too. I love that there’s another waiting room at the back. All the staffs are friendly and they professionally know how to work with their patients in need. My experience over all went beyond!! One last thing Before I forget. Fantastic, it's the closest I can say to the clinic in general. Michael Edwards met all my demands haha, my result was spectacular, I was very scared that I would get a scar, but it was not like that, you can barely see the incision. I had a breast augmentation, both breasts were exactly the same size, exactly the same height and really close to each other. I love how they look, super delicate and natural, they don't look like they don't go with the body at all. He is a fantastic doctor, there was nothing that was not as I wanted it. I am only 3 weeks post op from my breast augmentation with Dr. Edwards and although it’s still fairly early in the recovery process, I am so very very happy with how my breasts are turning out. They already look better than I anticipated they would! I cannot believe how easy recovery has been as well. I only had some mild discomfort on day 1 and 2 post op, but no pain whatsoever. Amazing. I am only 3 weeks post op from my breast augmentation with Dr. Edwards and although it’s still fairly early in the recovery process, I am so very very happy with how my breasts are turning out. I am beyond happy with my decision to go with Plastic Surgery Las Vegas because my entire experience with them has been INCREDIBLE. I got my breast augmentation in September, and from the time I met for a consultation to surgery day their team was on it! The consultation was super easy, they had all the answers to my questions, and what I like about Dr Edwards is he makes sure the size the patient gets is per their measurements and not just allow them to just get whatever size because that has a long term negative effect in the area and the body as well.. the surgery was super quick and I was well taken care of. I must say that I enjoy the experience from my first consultation, to the actual procedure and follow up check ups. Dr Silver is very knowledgeable about breast implants and he will be very candid about what he Considered to be the best option for me. And what I may or may not need. For example, I vividly remember that when I ask him about whether or not I could do some sort of face lifting and he patiently explained everything for me and in the end that he suggested that it will be too aggressive for me to do it. This tells me that he is honest doctor that he cares for what’s best for his patients. Oh my gosh, I can not say enough great things about plastic surgery vegas. I came into their office in August for a consultation with Dr. Edwards..not only was he very kind but he went into great detail about what we would do with my breast augmentation. I then decided to put down my deposit a couple weeks later and go forward with the surgery. I had my pre-op on October 15th, that was when we decided the size I for sure wanted to go. My surgery date was October 27th, when I went in that morning at 6:00 a.m. I was so nervous and scared, when the nurse went to go put the IV in my left hand, it wouldn't go in and it hurt so bad that I started to cry (pain and emotions) and not only did Dr Edwards hear me but he came in and held my other hand and told me everything was going to be okay. I knew I was in good hands. His assistant has called and emailed me to follow up how I have been doing and so has the outpatient surgery center..I am now 19 days post op and I couldn't be happier..He is just the best. I found myself in desperate need of him again as a result of a freak accident that caused one of my saline implants to rupture. Trust me when I say this was a freak accident!! Right away I reached out to his team to see what could be done. I was very indecisive on exactly what option I wanted to pursue as Dr. Edwards gave me several great options to consider. He and his assistant Cathy were so amazingly helpful to me throughout the entire process of making my decision which took me about three months to work through. They patiently talked through pro's and con's of the different options with me and even allowed me to test out some different options. This is my second surgery with Dr Edwards, and I have to say that the experience was as good as the first one. I developed a severe capsular contracture after a breast revision with a different doctor. Dr Edwards have been trying really hard to help me with my issues, and even though it has been a long and painful journey getting my normal breasts again, I am and forever will be grateful that I met Dr Edwards because he is an outstanding physician, he has great bedside manners. He treats me like I am part of his family, he never appears to be in a rush, he will take the time to answer all your questions, and makes sure you are well taken care by everyone in the office. The consultation was super easy, they had all the answers to my questions, and what I like about Dr Edwards is he makes sure the size the patient gets is per their measurements and not just allow them to just get whatever size because that has a long term negative effect in the area and the body as well.. the surgery was super quick and I was well taken care of. I did my research for surgeons specializing in breast augmentation and felt Dr. Edwards matched what I was looking for. His credentials seemed well above what I needed, but I wanted the best. I called the office for a consult and was scheduled for a few days later. I waited only a few minutes before meeting Dr. Edwards and his surgical assistant, forgot her name but she was awesome. The consult was informative but also a fun experience. I felt very comfortable and couldn’t think of any major questions after the consult. They seemed to cover it all. I booked my breast lift and implants at the consult for 2 weeks later. It was a bit of a rush to complete the pre surgical requirements like mammogram, bloodwork, filling prescriptions etc, but it was all done on time. I arrived at the surgery center and felt so relaxed. Everyone was so comforting. I was even laughing as they wheeled me into surgery. They emphasized the gentle anesthesia approach they use and they were spot on. I woke up feeling great with zero nausea or drowsiness. The pain for 2 days after was well managed with the meds and by the third day I felt I didn’t need pain management anymore. I was able to get back to caring for my 2 young children while following the required limitations. My few post surgery questions and my first follow ups were handled by Cynthia and she was quick to answer or call me right back. She’s such a sweetheart but also has been a great help through the healing process. I’m now 17 days post surgery and I’m blown away by my results. I didn’t think I would see the results this early and I’m so happy I made the choice to have the surgery. Dr. Edwards is a perfectionist and an artist in my opinion, his great bedside manner is just an extra plus. The office staff is also courteous and efficient. I recent underwent a breast implants surgery with Dr. Silver at Plastic Surgery Vegas. I must say that I enjoy the experience from my first consultation, to the actual procedure and follow up check ups. Dr Silver is very knowledgeable about breast implants and he will be very candid about what he Considered to be the best option for me. And what I may or may not need. For example, I vividly remember that when I ask him about whether or not I could do some sort of face lifting and he patiently explained everything for me and in the end that he suggested that it will be too aggressive for me to do it. This tells me that he is honest doctor that he cares for what’s best for his patients. In general the people working there in the Clinic, Are super nice and you Will have a great experience as I had enjoyed. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Silver. More
I had a wonderful experience at Plastic Surgery Vegas with Dr. Edwards and staff. Dr. Edwards has the best bedside manner of any plastic surgeon I have ever met with and is extremely knowledgeable on breast reconstruction. I was left looking very botched after having my breast implants removed via an en bloc capsulectomy performed by another surgeon. Dr. Edwards was able to fix these issues and my only regret is not finding him sooner for the prior surgeries. I highly recommend Plastic Surgery Vegas! More
Dr Edwards and his nurse Cathy are amazing!! Actually, everyone that I encountered at the office was extremely helpful. Having wanted a breast augmentation for over 20 years, when I was finally in the position to do it, I was nervous and didn't where to start. I set up consultations with 3 different doctors, as I wanted to make sure to get different opinions and compare pricing. Although Dr Edwards was not the most cost effective, I felt the most comfortable with him. My consultation with him and Cathy was very informative and they took a lot of time explaining the process and answering all of my questions. I can not speak highly enough of Dr. Higgins and his close staff (Laura & Kristin). This was to be my 4th breast augmentation in 25years (my 1st with Dr. Higgins), which included reconstruction/lift due to wanting to go smaller with this surgery. After my initial consultation with Dr. Higgins, I felt very comfortable and confident to proceed, but as a nurse, I had a few more questions. His reception had no problem scheduling an additional appointment to address any additional concerns. In my career as a nurse, I have met and worked with many physicians over the years. I am a repeat patient of Dr. Edwards. I orginially had breast aug. with him in 2007. I went back to him in July of 2020 to do a Lift and re-do my breast aug for smaller implants and to go under the muscle. His staff is impeccable. After 23 years I decided to have my breast implants revised after a friend recommended me to Dr. Edwards. I made an appointment for a consultation, my biggest concern was having a result that didn’t fit with my body. No one had even known I had implants so I wanted new and improved but appropriate for me. Dr. Edwards listened to my concerns, explained thoroughly what my current issues were and what he would do to correct them. I had been in Beverly Hills and had Laser Lipo at Elite Body. After staying in a hotel for 5 days and seeing the Dr. before I flew back to NYC, the Dr. said to me, "you should have had a tummy tuck". I was stunned, why wouldn't he have told me before I paid $17,000.00. It is not a fix, it is a band aid and it does not work. My husband and I were on our way to Las Vegas and I spoke with my closest friends whose husband happens to be an emergency room doctor. I had asked her hypothetically, that if I were in the market for a tummy tuck who would she recommend. I was told that Dr. Higgens.was the best! I was so lucky to get an appointment, we were only going to be in Las Vegas for 3 days. After meeting Dr. Higgens, my husband turned to me and said, "this is who you are using". I had 3 other consultations set up for Miami and NYC., I did not go any further than Dr. Higgens. Dr. Higgens is a GREAT listener, which is very important when you are having surgery, especially plastic surgery. He was frank in what results I could expect and what not to expect. I also decided to do my lower eye bags. I had them done in 1997 and there was loose skin. I booked my surgery and a month later we were back. Surgery went great! I had the nurse for 2 nights. I rented a reclining lounge chair and had that delivered to the hotel. BEST WAY TO SLEEP AFTER A TUMMY TUCK! Saw him the next day and I was doing great. Before leaving Vegas I developed a seroma, which is caused by your own body, not anyone's fault. Dr. Higgens treated me with a sonogram, and we drained the seroma every few days. I had Dr. Higgens cell phone number and if I need to reach out to him, I did not have to go through an answering service, I was able to text him. Wish ALL doctors were this way! It has been two years since the tummy tuck. I had my backside lifted last summer, and recently had my implants replaced. Dr. Higgens has done all 3 surgeries. I am happy BEYOND words!!! Two of my friends from NYC have already booked consultations for later this year. I can't stress enough what an incredible doctor he is. Compassionate, kind, honest, and has tremendous patience, he is also a friend. His staff is THE BEST! Laura is his nurse for the office, LOVE HER! She does pre-op and post-op and everything in between. I texted her with every little thing before bothering the doctor. Kristin is one of his surgical nurses and she is wonderful as well. It is 2 years now since the tummy tuck, I have had a list on my back side to compliment the tummy tuck, as well as having my breast implants replaced. I wish he was in NYC, I would have at least 20 new patients for him. As I have told all my friends...a good doctor is extremely hard to find. I am NOT someone who needs "hand holding", if you are a person that needs reassurance and "hand holding" you will NOT find anyone better than Dr. Higgens! He truly cares about his patients. He is extremely conservative. I wanted to touch up a spot on my leg that had lipo, I was told I needed to wait the 6 months. There are plenty of doctors that would have said ok, quite honestly why jeopardize the results after 6 weeks, heeling process takes 3 to 6 months. I have used the practice for a peel, CO2, as well as facials when I am in town. EVERYONE in the practice, from the girls at the desk, to the nurses, doctors are GREAT! Always greeted with hello, how are you and most importantly a smile. For those looking to have work done, I would suggest going for a consultation with Dr. Higgens. I can promise you that he will undoubtedly be your first choice. More

The Doctors at this group are the finest of any I've ever known! I had sought out a breast surgeon as I had a repetitive problem with Capsular Contracture, which is scar tissue that develops around the breast implants, it can become very painful sometimes. After several surgeries, both in Las Vegas and California, I wasn't looking for another Doctor to remove and replace my implants then to just put in another set! That was the last thing I needed! I wanted a Doctor who was skilled in the field of capsular contracture and who could almost guarantee me that I wouldn't get another conctracture. I do get that there are no absolute guarantees, but I was desperate after 7 breast surgeries. I was prepared to travel almost anywhere! Then, I heard there was a terrific Doctor right here in Las Vegas that treats my condition and has had great success too! So, I made an appointment with this doctor. His name is, Dr. Michael Edwards. Immediately, I liked him very much and what he had to say! He wasn't like other doctors, who just wanted to remove and replace your implants, then make a quick buck, he was different. What he said, made sense! He had spoke about different types of products that can "prevent Capsular Contracture". He said only 1 patient out of thousands ever had it come back...I was Extremely Excited Hearing That yet, still apprehensive! He knew that I was reluctant and still not easily able to make up my mind about another surgery and yet he answered all of my questions. He is very likeable and spent nearly 45 minutes with me and made sure I felt comfortable! Now, its almost a year later, and my breasts are very soft and no scar tissue! Believe me, I have read everything there is to know about this topic, if you are going to redevelop a contracture, its usually going to happen within 6 months. Although, I still hold my breath, after all that I've been through, except, I do feel confident that Dr. Edwards has provided me with every possible solution, including using "Strattice" which is what he used in my surgery, he felt that was best in my case. He may use something different different for different people..not sure.. Some womens bodies just develop scar tissue..from what I'm told. Especially when you're small breasted and small features like I am. I didn't have any breasts at all to speak of. Plus, I am very small boned. I just had my breast revision with a lift done Thursday by Dr. Edwards and let me just say from the day he replied to my question online to yesterday , my one day post op, him and his office have been absolutely the best. Sandra always answering my calls and emails whenever I had questions. Jacqueline was amazing given lots of information for my post op care. And Cathy, she made me feel so much comfortable and relax reassuring me that I was in good hands and I had the A team! Now Dr Edwards his experience and bed side manners are incredible. I met Dr. Edwards a year & a half ago, I wish he’d done my first breast augmentation. He treated me after I contracted a bacterial infection from a botched surgery, which caused me to become disfigured; it was a horrible & horrific experience. I have been a patient of Dr. Edwards since 2007. Dr. Edwards is a TOP DOCTOR that is knowledgeable and realistic as to what you are looking to have accomplished. Dr. Edwards is a very caring Dr. with a team that has been together for a very long time. I have had implants for the past 30 years and have always maintained the implants every 10 years. I had heard a lot of social media presence regarding implants and I checked with my General Practicitioner who felt it may be a cause of inflammation I had been having, My Rheumatologist, stated there was no concrete evidence so I decided to speak to Dr. Edwards and move forward with an explant. The procedure went very well and I couldn't be happier with the results Dr. Edwards provided. No disrespect to all the social media sights regarding Breast Implant Illness but I have not noticed one change with the exception of feeling lighter on top. I saw Dr. Edwards and Dr. Silver and have nothing but wonderful things to say about both of these surgeons. I had a breast implant removal with Dr. Edwards. I had a capsular contracture and he was very respectful about my decision to remove my implants. I also have virtually NO PAIN in my breasts from the surgery! The recovery has been unbelievable. Dr. Edwards repaired a large inguinal hernia, an umbilical hernia, as well as an abdominoplasty. I have heard recovery is brutal from this surgery and again have been so PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! The Doctors at this group are the finest of any I've ever known! I had sought out a breast surgeon as I had a repetitive problem with Capsular Contracture, which is scar tissue that develops around the breast implants, it can become very painful sometimes. After several surgeries, both in Las Vegas and California, I wasn't looking for another Doctor to remove and replace my implants then to just put in another set! That was the last thing I needed! I wanted a Doctor who was skilled in the field of capsular contracture and who could almost guarantee me that I wouldn't get another conctracture. I do get that there are no absolute guarantees, but I was desperate after 7 breast surgeries. I was prepared to travel almost anywhere! Then, I heard there was a terrific Doctor right here in Las Vegas that treats my condition and has had great success too! So, I made an appointment with this doctor. His name is, Dr. Michael Edwards. He said only 1 patient out of thousands ever had it come back...I was Extremely Excited Hearing That yet, still apprehensive! He knew that I was reluctant and still not easily able to make up my mind about another surgery and yet he answered all of my questions. He is very likeable and spent nearly 45 minutes with me and made sure I felt comfortable! Now, its almost a year later, and my breasts are very soft and no scar tissue! Believe me, I have read everything there is to know about this topic, if you are going to redevelop a contracture, its usually going to happen within 6 months. Although, I still hold my breath, after all that I've been through, except, I do feel confident that Dr. Edwards has provided me with every possible solution, including using "Strattice" which is what he used in my surgery, he felt that was best in my case. After only 2 months of recovery I have extremely minimal scarring and was shocked at how little the procedure actually hurt! And that was with a minor complication (which was totally my fault, not theirs)! I was referred for a consultation by a friend to Dr. Michael Edwards after struggling from some painful and less than acceptable results from breast augmentation performed by another doctor. Another surgery was unavoidable, so I did several consultations to be sure I was selecting the right doctor and office staff that I possibly could. From the very first phone conversation with Sandra, I was already feeling extremely positive because she provided so much information that I had never received from any of the other offices I contacted. My initial consultation with Dr. Edwards was incredibly thorough and straightforward with pictures and graphics that showed me exactly what was wrong, what he was proposing to do and the possible (not guaranteed) outcome after the surgery. I was referred for a consultation by a friend to Dr. Michael Edwards after struggling from some painful and less than acceptable results from breast augmentation performed by another doctor. Another surgery was unavoidable, so I did several consultations to be sure I was selecting the right doctor and office staff that I possibly could. From the very first phone conversation with Sandra, I was already feeling extremely positive because she provided so much information that I had never received from any of the other offices I contacted. My initial consultation with Dr. Edwards was incredibly thorough and straightforward with pictures and graphics that showed me exactly what was wrong, what he was proposing to do and the possible (not guaranteed) outcome after the surgery. His surgical assistant, Cathy, and his medical assistant, Jacqueline, were both very attentive, caring and informative before, during and after the whole process. What I also appreciated very much was that every time I had an appointment, they were ALWAYS on-time and I never had to wait. They were respectful of my time and my busy schedule. 50 and ready to be implant free - Las Vegas, NV - My goal is to have my implants removed. I have 20 maybe more years of life left and there is a lot of things i want to do! The boobs that once gave me the confidence i needed are just in the way and serving me no purpose. I may very well need a lift six months to a year down the road after I heal. I've had over the muscle implants since I was 27, I nursed my daughter for six months at 31. Switched out the saline for silicone almost 10 years ago. Now they just seem heavy and in the way. Updated on 10 Feb 2016: Thank you to everyone that's posted on this site. Looking forward to embracing the old me. My explant is Monday February 15. This is my second set of implants. Dr. Higgins replaced my 1992 saline implants with this silicone pair in 2006. Although is was an improvement i am ready to be free from implants entirely. Dr Higgins and his staff are wonderful and this is so much easier for me because of them. I'll let you know how it goes. Updated on 15 Feb 2016: My boobies are more sore than usual, I'm sure it's anxiety. Updated on 16 Feb 2016: Home am feeling loopy. Wrapped up tighter than a drum. I have drains and glad I do. Updated on 17 Feb 2016: I just got home from Dr Higgins office. The facility and the staff are wonderful. I was pleased to see that he went through my original scar around the nipple :) Looks a bit frightening now but I am so happy to be free of the implant and all the capsule. Updated on 18 Feb 2016: Doc said yesterday to keep the velcro 4" wide strap over the compression bra (that is over a couple of pads) as tight as i can stand it. Drains will come out tomorrow. I changed the pads out today and snapped this photo. Updated on 19 Feb 2016: Updated on 23 Feb 2016: Over my soprts bra i am wearing a 4" elastic velcro band as tight as i can stand it. I Have no breast tissue and alot of skin and tissue that needs to heal and hopefully retract. Right now they still look like the last photo. I only unwrap them long enough for a shower. I'll see Dr Higgins agian in three days. My over the muscle silicone implants were removed through my original nipple incisions so in my case, no tissue to hide a scar under the fold, so that's a plus. A little nervous the fluff fairy may never visit. The best part is the stiff and sore neck that i have lived with for years doesn't hurt and my range of motion has increased by at least 20 percent!! I can hardly wait to go back to pilates, yoga and golf !! Updated on 28 Feb 2016: I'm not seeing much improvement. Three days without compression. I don't have enough tissue for a "aa" cup. You can still see and feel the space where the implants rested. Still sore and sensative to the touch. The silicone implants were removed through insisions below my nipples. Those stittches will desolve on their own eventually. 10 years ago i have "textured" saline implants replaced with this second set. Some of the very little tissue I had came out with those implants. I'm hopeful that next weeks update photo will be and improvement. Really Greatful for all your stories on here. Updated on 8 Mar 2016: I have been massaging. I have been using a manual breast pump as suggested by my PS. The scar tissue is winning. I can't exersize and it seems the rest of me is falling apart too. Okay enough about me. Explant and Full Capsulectomy, No Implant Replacement - Las Vegas, NV - I interviewed six surgeons in the Las Vegas area to explant/capsulectomy my 9 year old saline implants and *not* replace them. I had a breast augmentation done with Dr. Edwards. The reason I chose him as my surgeon was everyone I talked to said he was the best in Vegas...and they were right! I was so nervous to have surgery, was my first time ever but he eased all my fears. Dr. Bowman the anesthesiologist did great as well!! No pain no nausea of any sort waking up. Not only is Dr. Edwards work amazing but he is compassionate too. I remember him holding my hand in the OR as I went to sleep. That meant a lot to me! My results are phenomenal!! I have thought about having breast augmentation for a very long time. I went to see several doctors and I knew that when Dr. Edwards walked into to the exam room I was in the right place. I had 360 cc smooth saline implants under the muscle for 15 years. I am 5ft 8" tall, and at the age of 23 thought I needed to have at least a C cup to match my curvy figure. Also, I lived in Los Angeles, where all of my friends were getting bigger breasts and it seemed pretty simple. I hated the feeling of having implants in my body the minute I woke up from surgery. I lost a lot of feeling in one of my breasts and nipples, and it changed my sex life for the worse. Even though I liked the way I filled out clothes and bras, I was always aware of these foreign objects in my body, and sleeping on my stomach or having a massage became very uncomfortable. After 10 years of having implants I began having health issues. My thyroid was low, my adrenals were fatigued, I had random aches and pains in my joints, stomach issues, 24 hour a day headaches and dizziness, and the list goes on. I spent 5 years trying to figure out this could be happening. I eat very healthy, exercise, and take very good care of myself. About a year ago, I started reading articles about breast implants causing these sorts of health problems, and that was it for me. I was having pain in my left breast and was due to either have my implants replaced, or I could remove them and be done with it. I chose to remove my implants with no lift, and my doctor performed a full capsulectomy and also did a revision on my right areola scar. My surgery went well with no complications and I could not be happier! Everyone comments to me that I look like I lost 10 pounds, and I look much more athletic. I feel so much lighter, and it was great shopping for small tops instead of large! I feel much healthier, and half of my symptoms have disappeared. I think in time, all of my symptoms will be gone.Updated on 20 Oct 2013:I am at almost 4 months now since my surgery, and I am adding new pics of my progress so far. I will never regret having my implants removed and am seeing new improvements every week! I had my surgery at Flamingo surgery center and I have nothing but good things to say about the staff there. They put my nerves at ease and made the surgery process easier than I expected. The Anesthesiologist Dr. Boman is very gentle and kind , and very experienced ( he is also pretty funny ). You can be assured you are in good hands. Dr. Edwards is available all hours of any day and always there to answer questions you may have before and after surgery. It has been three weeks out from surgery and so far I am very pleased with my results. I have already recommended Dr. Edwards to a friend who is having her breasts done by him later this month, just as I would recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor who truly cares for his patients and does amazing plastic surgery ! So Happy to Be Implant Free!!! - Las Vegas, NV - I had 360 cc smooth saline implants under the muscle for 15 years. I am 5ft 8" tall, and at the age of 23 thought I needed to have at least a C cup to match my curvy figure. Also, I lived in Los Angeles, where all of my friends were getting bigger breasts and it seemed pretty simple. I hated the feeling of having implants in my body the minute I woke up from surgery. I lost a lot of feeling in one of my breasts and nipples, and it changed my sex life for the worse. Even though I liked the way I filled out clothes and bras, I was always aware of these foreign objects in my body, and sleeping on my stomach or having a massage became very uncomfortable. After 10 years of having implants I began having health issues. My thyroid was low, my adrenals were fatigued, I had random aches and pains in my joints, stomach issues, 24 hour a day headaches and dizziness, and the list goes on. I spent 5 years trying to figure out this could be happening. I eat very healthy, exercise, and take very good care of myself. About a year ago, I started reading articles about breast implants causing these sorts of health problems, and that was it for me. I was having pain in my left breast and was due to either have my implants replaced, or I could remove them and be done with it. I chose to remove my implants with no lift, and my doctor performed a full capsulectomy and also did a revision on my right areola scar. My surgery went well with no complications and I could not be happier! Everyone comments to me that I look like I lost 10 pounds, and I look much more athletic. I feel so much lighter, and it was great shopping for small tops instead of large! I feel much healthier, and half of my symptoms have disappeared. I think in time, all of my symptoms will be gone. Updated on 20 Oct 2013: I am at almost 4 months now since my surgery, and I am adding new pics of my progress so far. I will never regret having my implants removed and am seeing new improvements every week! I know at this point I will not be getting a lift, and I feel like my breasts have really filled in the last few months. Having my implants removed was the best health decision I could of made for myself :) Updated on 21 Feb 2014: Hi everyone, I am happy to say I am 8 months since explant and doing really well! I continue to see improvement monthly. My surgeon said it takes about a year to heal, and he is definitely right! My health continues to improve too! I have posted updated pics. Dr Edwards lifted my breasts several years ago and I wanted t take the opportunity to say I totally agree with the other reviewers. I am still happy with my results, his staff are so nice and professional. Dr Edwards really does take the time you need to answer all questions. I have referred him to many friends and I would not go to anyone else!! More
I live in Las Vegas where we have many wonderful and talented doctors, but none come close to Dr. Edwards!! When I met with him and his staff and then found that his wife also works at the practice I knew I was in the right place! They felt like a family unit and they all love what they do! I was super nervous when arriving for surgery, but when he came in and spoke with my husband and I... I was immediately calmed and felt at ease! After the second, not only did I have symmastia, but I had also bottomed out and I had several hard knots under my skin that you could even see! I am an out of state patient and Dr.E always took the time to answer my questions via email. After discussing his plan for my procedure he promised that he would operate until he had acheived the very best result that he could for me. My breasts look great, the repair feels sturdier, you cannot see or feel any of my internal sutures (even though he uses 4 rows for support!! --he can suture, that's a fact!) He is very helpful, knowledgeable, and skilled and it's obvious that he loves what he does. His entire office staff is also wonderful, I couldn't be happier with my experience with his office! More

I just had my breast augmentation 5/3/10 and I swear I would do it all over again with Dr. Edwards because it was such a SMOOTH operation. My breast are 2 weeks and everyone in the office says it doesn't even look like I had anything done because they looked and felt so natural! The nurses (especially Jackie) was so personable and excellent in every way. I must have called the office 1000 times and they answered my questions with diligence and professionalism each time. So Happy with my Breast Augmentation - I have wanted a BA since I was 18 b/c I was a small B cup. I wanted to do this for myself and no one else. I waited until I was almost 25 and did research for YEARS to find the perfect doc.I finally had a Breast Augmentation on Feb 25, 2010 in Las Vegas. I can't express enough how happy I have been with this whole experience. Dr. E and his staff were so patient, answered my many questions and really made me feel comfortable. I just knew that this doc was "the one".I went with 450cc silicone allergan natrelle implants under the muscle. I went from a "B" cup to baby "D" cup. I'm only 2 1/2 weeks post op but I love them already.It was very painful for 3 days after surgery. Do not believe the women that say they didn't have any pain at all, b/c there definetely is pain for a few days.All in all I think the only reason I am happy with my results is b/c I researched this surgery and doctors for over 2 years.
