This group of products helps to minimize muscle movements that make facial fine lines and wrinkles. As we try to manage aging, these tools give us options to “age gracefully”. The average effectiveness for neurotoxins is 3-4 months. Some patients will see the effects wear off sooner than this, while others may notice that they are able to make it a little longer between recommended maintenance treatments. Results between the different brands of neurotoxins vary among patients depending on several individual factors. For this reason, we like to offer several different options to customize your treatment. As with any injection, there is a chance for bruising and/or swelling.
- Botox® – The brand name for the botulinum toxin manufactured by Allergan.
- Dysport® – The brand name for the botulinum toxin manufactured by Galderma.
- Xeomin® – The brand name for the botulinum toxin manufactured by Merz Aesthetics.
