Rhinoplasty Reviews
Dr. Higgins is the most amazing surgeon. I had my facelift surgery one year ago. The entire experience was perfect. Dr. Higgins and his staff are so kind, caring and knowledgeable. Every aspect of his care from the consultation, pre-op, surgery, first night care and the entire post-op has been a very pleasant experience. I really can't put into words how thankful I am that I chose Dr. Higgins as my surgeon. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Higgins and staff for all your cosmetic needs. 10 stars plus!!!
I have had upper arm reduction a facelift, and my protruding ears flattened with Dr Higgins and he is the best!!! He is not only an extremely competent surgeon providing outstanding results but he is a kind and caring doctor. With the upper arm reduction, I can now where sundresses and sleeveless tops with confidence something that I hadn’t done in 5 years. The facelift really gave me a youthful appearance and finally the ear flattening procedure was awesome! Kids used to call me Dumbo and now I can wear my hair in a ponytail for the first time in my life. Not only is Dr. Higgins fantastic but his entire staff is helpful, caring and supportive! I can’t say enough good!
Going to Plastic Surgery Vegas has been life changing for me. Dr Edwards, Dr Higgins and Dr Tam have all been so caring and are amazing doctors. The staff are also caring and supportive, like family! Several of my friends have been impressed with the results from my facelift, breast lift and tummy tuck that they have also have chosen to use these drs for the same procedures. That’s the most sincere form of a compliment and I am extremely happy with my results.
Oh, I just had to write this review! DR HIGGINS IS A PHENOMENAL PLASTIC SURGEON WHO CAN LITERALLY DO WHAT OTHER PLASTIC SURGEONS CANNOT! I am a 75-year-old woman who has seen the best plastic surgeons in Arizona and Florida. Recently, in Florida, I had an upper lip lift that resulted in a huge deformity under my nose that was like a huge pin cushion easily larger than the top of my thumb. The surgeon that did the surgery was unable to fix it and every attempt he tried resulted in it getting bigger. This is called a trapdoor deformity and they come back IF a doctor can remove them at all. I paid over $10,000 for the initial surgery as I also had a face lift. I went to South Florida, Miami, to get the trapdoor deformity fixed by a different surgeon and spent another $11,000. I was told it would come back and it did. I moved to Las Vegas and saw Dr. Higgins and this extremely obvious and upsetting deformity is totally gone!!! In addition, Dr. Higgins is truly kind and intelligent and personable and sees the patient as a human being to enjoy... This is a rare and wonderful thing when you're going through hell with a deformity like I had. It is so important to be very, very careful in selecting a plastic surgeon and if you are reading this review, I would truly recommend flying to Las Vegas to have your surgery done by Dr. Higgins. I truly wish I had!
I have had multiple surgeries with Dr. Silver, and I could not be more pleased. My experiences with him and his office staff have been nothing short of superb. He is truly gifted. My most recent surgery was a mini facelift and neck lift. My results are unbelievable! I have seen many facelift scars and Dr. Silvers are exceptional. The scars are minimal, thin, well- hidden and virtually invisible.Dr. Silver is very competent, intelligent and is a perfectionist with his surgeries. He will never cut corners or speed through his work. He likes a more natural look, so you never have to worry about looking extreme or unnatural. His work and his reputation are very important to him.Although I couldn't ask for a better plastic surgeon, what I am most fond of regarding Dr. Silver is his sound character. It is so refreshing to see someone with a strong moral code and integrity. He has your best interest at heart. I have confided in him multiple times about personal matters and he has responded with kindness and understanding. He has a calmness about him that is relaxing and gives you confidence you’re in good hands. Dr. Silver and his staff establish immense trust while you're in such a vulnerable position.Dr. Silver would never do unnecessary surgeries that aren't needed regardless of the money he can make. He is more driven by his job performance and artistic vision than his financial compensation. He would never pressure you to do anything.Stacie is Dr. Silver’s medical assistant. The two of them work together like a well-oiled machine. Stacie is on-point and doesn't skip a beat. She has such a positive energy that radiates and makes you feel so comfortable. She is simply an invaluable member of this office. It wouldn’t be the same without her.Nicole and Ariel are also medical assistants that were kind and helpful. Both are assets to this office.Diana is the surgery coordinator for Dr. Silver. She is professional, attentive and very pleasant. She made scheduling easy and smooth. What I really liked about Diana is that she doesn't pressure you in any way. She realizes surgery is the patient's decision to make when they are ready. I enjoy talking to her so much I always make it a point to say “Hi” during my office visits.Plastic Surgery Vegas is the Ritz Carlton of plastic surgery offices. I have lived in Vegas for 25 years and this office has always had the best reputation. They offer 5-star service and treat their patients with respect. They are respectful of your time and do their best to stay on schedule. You won't see numerous people sitting in a waiting room like you do other offices. This is very unusual in the medical industry and undoubtedly sets them apart. My loyalty will always lie with Dr. Silver and Stacie, and I will be forever grateful for receiving such superior service.

How does rhinoplasty work?
Rhinoplasty is performed with the patient under sedation, such as general anesthesia, and is usually an outpatient surgery. This treatment offers different surgical techniques, depending on your concerns and functional issues. We perform rhinoplasty using either an open or closed (endonasal) approach. The goal during treatment is to remove excess cartilage, tissue, and bone, or to build and increase cartilage for a new shape. The nasal features are repositioned while the skin is re-draped over the newly enhanced framework. Sutures are positioned either on the inside portion of the nose or in the natural external fold.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will my insurance cover functional nose surgery?
Although rhinoplasty to improve your appearance is not paid by insurance, if your nose reshaping surgery is considered medically necessary to improve your breathing, some of your costs may be covered. If you may be using your insurance, please let us during your consultation. Our office will help you submit any needed paperwork and information to your insurance to process your claim.
Are there nonsurgical options to change my nose?
To smooth lumps and bumps on your nose, a wrinkle filler (like Juvéderm or Restylane) might be an option. A filler can temporarily improve minor imperfections, which might help you decide if you want to get a rhinoplasty. Nose surgery is better for larger changes, long-lasting results, and to improve the internal structure of the nose for better function.
What about ethnic rhinoplasty?
Ethnic rhinoplasty is about improving the appearance of the nose while still keeping your cultural identity. This is often a concern if you are Asian, African-American, or Middle Eastern. During your consultation, you can talk about what you like about your nose and what you would like to change. This will allow us to customize your treatment plan to give you your best results.
Can I combine nose surgery with other facial surgeries?
Some patients think about combining nose surgery with another procedure, like cheek or chin augmentation. Combining surgeries for a dramatic result can be reviewed during your consultation. Once we understand your goals, we can help you choose which procedures should be in your custom plan. Rhinoplasty can help make your whole face look more balanced so you should wait to see your results before considering another procedure.
Are the results of rhinoplasty permanent?
Rhinoplasty results are considered permanent, although aging, injury, or other factors can affect the long-term appearance of the nose. It's important to maintain realistic expectations and follow post-operative care instructions provided by our team at Plastic Surgery Vegas.
Can rhinoplasty address breathing issues?
Yes, rhinoplasty can be performed to correct structural issues that cause breathing problems, such as a deviated septum, alongside aesthetic improvements.
What happens after my rhinoplasty?
Upon completion of your rhinoplasty, you will rest comfortably in the recovery space, and then our nurses will release you to recover at home. The nose will be bruised and swollen for a week or so. In almost all patients, there is some discoloration beneath the eyes in addition to the nose. Ice packs and prescription pain medication can assist with these effects. Your post-operative appointment will be scheduled within 72 hours following surgery to assess your healing progress. On average, it takes around 2 – 4 weeks to heal from nose surgery. Within this recovery phase, strenuous activity or exercise should be avoided.
