Intense Pulse Light (IPL)
Intense Pulse Light (IPL) treats unwanted pigment changes and redness. Many patients complain of brown spots, sun damage spots, rosacea, or overall “blotchiness” in their skin that becomes harder to cover with makeup. IPL rejuvenates skin so you can enjoy a healthier glow and complexion.
IPL is often combined in our office with other treatments such as cryotherapy and the use of a hyfrecator to remove seborrheic keratoses and sebaceous hyperplasias (benign growths) so that the texture of your skin is smoother as well.
Most patients require a series of three treatments in the beginning. Treatments then taper off to 1 treatment every 4-6 months depending on the condition that is being treated.
After your treatment is over, there is some redness, mild swelling, and possibly mild crusting if cryotherapy and the hyfrecator were used to remove spots. Everyone heals at a different rate and can take 7-21 days to heal depending on the area treated (face, neck, chest, arms, hands, and legs).

TCA and Phenol Peels
TCA and Phenol Cross
TCA and Phenol Cross are used to treat ice pick acne scars and dilated pores. Multiple treatments are done over the course of 12 months and the scars and pores close slowly over time. There is little to no discomfort when the treatment is done. A small crust remains for approximately 7 days before it falls off. There are little to no restrictions when these treatments are done.
Melasma
Melasma is a chronic and relapsing condition of pigmentation involving the face, neck, chest, and arms. It occurs in both men and women. Many people have tried multiple procedures and topical products. Although there is no cure for melasma, having a prescription regimen and a plan for treatment has given hope to many women who have felt self conscious about their skin for decades.
Cryotherapy
Acne Treatments
Acne Treatments available to patients include the use of oral and topical medication. Treatments are available to all age groups since it is now widely accepted that acne does not only exist in the adolescent years. Acne treatments can be individually tailored to your lifestyle and skin care goals.
Scar Therapy
Scar Therapy is available to all patients with any type of scar. Different types of scars that can be treated are acne scars, injuries, skin cancer scars, dog bites, and skin grafts. Depending on the type of scar that you have, a recommendation for a regimen, lasers, chemical peels, or microneedling can help improve the color and texture of your scar.
Subcisions
Hair Loss
There are multiple causes for hair loss. Nutraceuticals, topical prescription medication, oral prescription medications, and injectable therapy are offered for all phases of hair loss depending on your diagnosis. Hair loss starts with the proper diagnosis before the regimen can begin. For most patients, hair loss regimens take at least 6 months before hair begins to improve and at least 12-18 months for you to see a regimen’s full benefit. It is a very slow process since hair growth is slow.

Enzymes
Derived from fruits, enzymes break down the keratin in the uppermost layer of skin, allowing a natural exfoliation process to happen. Enzymes are gentle enough for people with sensitive skin, and can be used multiple times a week. This treatment results in smoother, softer, and brighter skin.
Diamond Glow
A rejuvenating skin treatment that simultaneously exfoliates, extracts, and infuses. Serums are infused at the moment of exfoliation, while the pores are most receptive, maximizing results. This treatment is great to do before an event to give your skin a beautiful glow, or can be done as often as monthly for maintaining results. This treatment is customizable for your skin’s needs.
Microneedling
A proven, effective treatment that has been used since 1995 to improve the appearance of acne, acne scarring, and fine lines and wrinkles. This treatment activates your body’s natural healing process by creating microscopic channels in the skin. This ultimately leads to the enhanced production of collagen and elastin fibers, creating a healthier and more youthful appearance.
Dermaplaning
A cosmetic procedure utilizing a surgical blade that mechanically removes the top layer of skin and vellus hairs. This treatment helps to make your skin look more youthful, smooth, and bright.
Eyebrow tint
A semi-permanent dye for your eyebrows making them look thicker, fuller, and more defined.
Medical grade peels
A chemical exfoliation treatment that gently peels away your skin's outermost layers to reveal fresher, healthier skin. Medical grade peels are great for wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, acne/acne scarring, evening out skin tone, and also helps to improve the clarity and texture of the overall skin. After a medical-grade chemical peel, you will not only be left with smoother, brighter skin, but also a healthy new layer of undamaged skin cells. These new cells will better absorb the products you use daily, including serums, retinols, and moisturizers.
Clear & Brilliant
A gentle treatment that uses fractional laser technology to address and prevent the early signs of aging. It improves your skin’s texture and elasticity through collagen remodeling. Clear & Brilliant is safe for all skin types with your best results seen in a package of 3 or 6 treatments, performed 4 weeks apart. Within two weeks after treatment, your skin will start to feel softer, look brighter and have a more even tone. Results will improve even more over time.
Facial waxing
Waxing is a safe and gentle method of removing unwanted facial hair. Whether it’s unwanted hair on your chin, upper lip, brows, or stray facial hair, waxing can make a world of difference. Gentle exfoliation is achieved with waxing and can enhance your skin’s tone and texture as well. The longest-lasting results are achieved by removing the hair from the root, which interrupts the hair growth cycle. With this interruption, the hair is likely to grow back in 4-6 weeks’ time.
Teen Facial
Designed to educate and introduce skin care to our younger patients. The teen facial targets the specific needs of adolescent skin.
Custom Facial
Custom facials are tailored to each person’s specific skin care needs. Treatment and products are customized to treat a variety of needs, to promote optimal skin health.
Treatment may include dermaplaning, gentle enzymes, targeted chemical peels, or soothing masques.
