The minute I stepped into the office for my consultation, I noticed right away how nice and clean the lobby is and the front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Upon meeting Dr. Higgins, I knew this was the place to get my breast augmentation. They were extremely knowledgeable, professional, positive and I felt very safe. Had breast augmentation and lipo done March 2022. Loved office from consultation to post op visits. Dr. Silver really spent time with me to go over all my options make me feel comfortable and informed during my initial consult. Day of surgery all staff from nurse to anesthesiologist to doc were so great, helped me stay relaxed and excited for procedure. Surgery went beautifully and no complications. I am now 4 weeks post op just had my follow up visit. I am loving the way everything looks and couldn’t be happier. I can not even express how much I love Dr. Edwards. Before I met him I had 3 breast augmentation surgeries from different doctors and was experiencing capsular contracture every time. Fantastic, it's the closest I can say to the clinic in general. Michael Edwards met all my demands haha, my result was spectacular, I was very scared that I would get a scar, but it was not like that, you can barely see the incision. I had a breast augmentation, both breasts were exactly the same size, exactly the same height and really close to each other. I personally know many of his patients and have had my own beautiful experience with him doing removal and replacement of my breast implants as well as a breast lift. My journey with Dr. Edwards began 15 years ago in 2005. He performed a breast revision to correct failing capsules and my result was beautiful! Fast forward to 2020. I found myself in desperate need of him again as a result of a freak accident that caused one of my saline implants to rupture. Trust me when I say this was a freak accident!! Right away I reached out to his team to see what could be done. I was very indecisive on exactly what option I wanted to pursue as Dr. Edwards gave me several great options to consider. He and his assistant Cathy were so amazingly helpful to me throughout the entire process of making my decision which took me about three months to work through. They patiently talked through pro's and con's of the different options with me and even allowed me to test out some different options. Oh my gosh, I can not say enough great things about plastic surgery vegas. I came into their office in August for a consultation with Dr. Edwards..not only was he very kind but he went into great detail about what we would do with my breast augmentation. I then decided to put down my deposit a couple weeks later and go forward with the surgery. I had my pre-op on October 15th, that was when we decided the size I for sure wanted to go. My surgery date was October 27th, when I went in that morning at 6:00 a.m. I was so nervous and scared, when the nurse went to go put the IV in my left hand, it wouldn't go in and it hurt so bad that I started to cry (pain and emotions) and not only did Dr Edwards hear me but he came in and held my other hand and told me everything was going to be okay. I knew I was in good hands. His assistant has called and emailed me to follow up how I have been doing and so has the outpatient surgery center..I am now 19 days post op and I couldn't be happier..He is just the best. I did my research for surgeons specializing in breast augmentation and felt Dr. Edwards matched what I was looking for. His credentials seemed well above what I needed, but I wanted the best. I called the office for a consult and was scheduled for a few days later. I waited only a few minutes before meeting Dr. Edwards and his surgical assistant, forgot her name but she was awesome. The consult was informative but also a fun experience. I felt very comfortable and couldn’t think of any major questions after the consult. They seemed to cover it all. I booked my breast lift and implants at the consult for 2 weeks later. It was a bit of a rush to complete the pre surgical requirements like mammogram, bloodwork, filling prescriptions etc, but it was all done on time. I arrived at the surgery center and felt so relaxed. Everyone was so comforting. I was even laughing as they wheeled me into surgery. They emphasized the gentle anesthesia approach they use and they were spot on. I woke up feeling great with zero nausea or drowsiness. The pain for 2 days after was well managed with the meds and by the third day I felt I didn’t need pain management anymore. I was able to get back to caring for my 2 young children while following the required limitations. My few post surgery questions and my first follow ups were handled by Cynthia and she was quick to answer or call me right back. She’s such a sweetheart but also has been a great help through the healing process. I’m now 17 days post surgery and I’m blown away by my results. I didn’t think I would see the results this early and I’m so happy I made the choice to have the surgery. Dr. Edwards is a perfectionist and an artist in my opinion, his great bedside manner is just an extra plus. The office staff is also courteous and efficient. I must say that I enjoy the experience from my first consultation, to the actual procedure and follow up check ups. Dr Silver is very knowledgeable about breast implants and he will be very candid about what he Considered to be the best option for me. And what I may or may not need. For example, I vividly remember that when I ask him about whether or not I could do some sort of face lifting and he patiently explained everything for me and in the end that he suggested that it will be too aggressive for me to do it. I am so happy I chose Dr. Edwards with Plastic Surgery Vegas! I went into my breast augmentation consultation nervous and unsure. I left feeling empowered and confident! The following day I booked my surgery. My surgery date came up and and I was feeling anxious and starting to doubt my decision. However, the staff at the surgical center and Dr. Brown, the anesthesiologist were so amazing. And Dr. Edwards has a way about himself that projects calmness and security. I went back to him in July of 2020 to do a Lift and re-do my breast aug for smaller implants and to go under the muscle. His staff is impeccable. I Am Forever Thankful - Dr Edwards did my breast implants revision due to capsular contraction. And I have to say that meeting him it is the best thing that happened to me. Besides being highly skilled on this procedure, and doing an outstanding job, he is very kind, professional and always treat you like you are part of his family. My surgery went very well. I had minimal pain, no swelling and no bruising. He followed me frequently so check my progress. Dr. Edwards is such an amazing doctor. I went to two consultations prior to seeing Dr. Edwards as I was trying to stay in network to have my breast reduction covered. Unhappy with the other doctors bedside manner, I decided to have a consult with dr. Edwards as a former colleague had the same procedure with him and recommended I give it a try. I am so glad I did, from the moment I walked in it felt right. His staff and Medical assistants were great and helpful and dr. Edwards was so genuine and caring. He took the time to hear me out and my concerns and we discussed a plan that would work for me. I decided to go with him even after my insurance approved the other two doctors. Up until the day of my surgery, I felt comfortable. The day of surgery I was so nervous, and he came in and made it all about me. He talked me through everything and assured me the day was about me. I just had my breast revision with a lift done Thursday by Dr. Edwards and let me just say from the day he replied to my question online to yesterday , my one day post op, him and his office have been absolutely the best. I met Dr. Edwards a year & a half ago, I wish he’d done my first breast augmentation. He treated me after I contracted a bacterial infection from a botched surgery, which caused me to become disfigured; it was a horrible & horrific experience. I saw Dr. Edwards and Dr. Silver and have nothing but wonderful things to say about both of these surgeons. I had a breast implant removal with Dr. Edwards. I had a capsular contracture and he was very respectful about my decision to remove my implants. I also have virtually NO PAIN in my breasts from the surgery! The recovery has been unbelievable. Dr. Edwards repaired a large inguinal hernia, an umbilical hernia, as well as an abdominoplasty. I have heard recovery is brutal from this surgery and again have been so PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! Dr. Edwards and Dr. Silver are not only artists and perfectionists but they are kind and caring throughout the entire process. The Doctors at this group are the finest of any I've ever known! I had sought out a breast surgeon as I had a repetitive problem with Capsular Contracture, which is scar tissue that develops around the breast implants, it can become very painful sometimes. After several surgeries, both in Las Vegas and California, I wasn't looking for another Doctor to remove and replace my implants then to just put in another set! That was the last thing I needed! Immediately, I liked him very much and what he had to say! He wasn't like other doctors, who just wanted to remove and replace your implants, then make a quick buck, he was different. What he said, made sense! He had spoke about different types of products that can "prevent Capsular Contracture". He said only 1 patient out of thousands ever had it come back...I was Extremely Excited Hearing That yet, still apprehensive! He knew that I was reluctant and still not easily able to make up my mind about another surgery and yet he answered all of my questions. My husband and I were on our way to Las Vegas and I spoke with my closest friends whose husband happens to be an emergency room doctor. I had asked her hypothetically, that if I were in the market for a tummy tuck who would she recommend. I was told that Dr. Higgens.was the best! I was so lucky to get an appointment, we were only going to be in Las Vegas for 3 days. After meeting Dr. Higgens, my husband turned to me and said, "this is who you are using". After 23 years I decided to have my breast implants revised after a friend recommended me to Dr. Edwards. I made an appointment for a consultation, my biggest concern was having a result that didn’t fit with my body. No one had even known I had implants so I wanted new and improved but appropriate for me. After significant research, I picked Dr. Edwards for a breast lift/augmentation and I could not be happier with the results, which are even better than I imagined. From the very first phone conversation with Sandra, I was already feeling extremely positive because she provided so much information that I had never received from any of the other offices I contacted. My initial consultation with Dr. Edwards was incredibly thorough and straightforward with pictures and graphics that showed me exactly what was wrong, what he was proposing to do and the possible (not guaranteed) outcome after the surgery. His surgical assistant, Cathy, and his medical assistant, Jacqueline, were both very attentive, caring and informative before, during and after the whole process. What I also appreciated very much was that every time I had an appointment, they were ALWAYS on-time and I never had to wait. They were respectful of my time and my busy schedule. I believe that Dr. Silver has gone above and beyond for me through my breast augmentation surgery and recovery. He is very easy to talk and connect with. He explains everything clearly. I had a chest reconstruction in 2006. It was a reconstruction so it was major surgery, I had a surgical bra put in, had my muscles in my chest detached and reattached I had fat transfers. I was a long distance swimmer and my boobs were full D's but because of my shoulders and chest being ripped from all American and college my boobs were in ( you could see my ribs and muscles from the sides of my boobs) and they were pushed up giving me the look of someone who got a terrible boob job. I saw 7 plastic surgeons. Their suggestions were ALLOVER the board. MD Edwards was so nice and his wife Cathy too. 50 and ready to be implant free - Las Vegas, NV - My goal is to have my implants removed. I have 20 maybe more years of life left and there is a lot of things i want to do! The boobs that once gave me the confidence i needed are just in the way and serving me no purpose. I may very well need a lift six months to a year down the road after I heal. I've had over the muscle implants since I was 27, I nursed my daughter for six months at 31. Switched out the saline for silicone almost 10 years ago. Now they just seem heavy and in the way. Updated on 10 Feb 2016: Thank you to everyone that's posted on this site. Looking forward to embracing the old me. My explant is Monday February 15. This is my second set of implants. Dr. Higgins replaced my 1992 saline implants with this silicone pair in 2006. Although is was an improvement i am ready to be free from implants entirely. Dr Higgins and his staff are wonderful and this is so much easier for me because of them. I'll let you know how it goes. Updated on 15 Feb 2016: My boobies are more sore than usual, I'm sure it's anxiety. Updated on 16 Feb 2016: Home am feeling loopy. Wrapped up tighter than a drum. I have drains and glad I do. Sneak peak tomorrow at the docs and I'll snap a photo. Updated on 16 Feb 2016: Evening drain emply and measure (the first one at home) About 4 hours / 40ml each. So glad I have the drains, imagine all that filling up the cavity. Really happy to have them out. Everybody at Durango Surgery was great. Dr Higgins has a great team! Updated on 17 Feb 2016: I just got home from Dr Higgins office. The facility and the staff are wonderful. I was pleased to see that he went through my original scar around the nipple :) Looks a bit frightening now but I am so happy to be free of the implant and all the capsule. Updated on 18 Feb 2016: Doc said yesterday to keep the velcro 4" wide strap over the compression bra (that is over a couple of pads) as tight as i can stand it. Drains will come out tomorrow. I changed the pads out today and snapped this photo. Updated on 19 Feb 2016: Updated on 23 Feb 2016: Over my soprts bra i am wearing a 4" elastic velcro band as tight as i can stand it. I Have no breast tissue and alot of skin and tissue that needs to heal and hopefully retract. Right now they still look like the last photo. I only unwrap them long enough for a shower. I'll see Dr Higgins agian in three days. My over the muscle silicone implants were removed through my original nipple incisions so in my case, no tissue to hide a scar under the fold, so that's a plus. A little nervous the fluff fairy may never visit. The best part is the stiff and sore neck that i have lived with for years doesn't hurt and my range of motion has increased by at least 20 percent!! I can hardly wait to go back to pilates, yoga and golf !! Updated on 28 Feb 2016: I'm not seeing much improvement. Three days without compression. I don't have enough tissue for a "aa" cup. You can still see and feel the space where the implants rested. Still sore and sensative to the touch. The silicone implants were removed through insisions below my nipples. Those stittches will desolve on their own eventually. 10 years ago i have "textured" saline implants replaced with this second set. Some of the very little tissue I had came out with those implants. I'm hopeful that next weeks update photo will be and improvement. Really Greatful for all your stories on here. Updated on 8 Mar 2016: I have been massaging. I have been using a manual breast pump as suggested by my PS. The scar tissue is winning. I can't exersize and it seems the rest of me is falling apart too. Okay enough about me. I am happy to be implant free :) It can only get better, right?!? Updated on 28 Mar 2016: Trying to decide if the massaging and breast pump are helping. I chose the RIGHT doctor for my augmentation and lift. The pre & post RN's and Anesthesiologist was EXCELLENT! Dr. Edwards approach, knowledge, bedside manner, and passion for what he does and the end result is exquisite!! Every day I look in the mirror and see the progress I'm ecstatic with the results and the clean lines in where the incisions were made. I had a breast augmentation done with Dr. Edwards. The reason I chose him as my surgeon was everyone I talked to said he was the best in Vegas...and they were right! I was so nervous to have surgery, was my first time ever but he eased all my fears. Dr. Bowman the anesthesiologist did great as well!! No pain no nausea of any sort waking up. Not only is Dr. Edwards work amazing but he is compassionate too. I remember him holding my hand in the OR as I went to sleep. That meant a lot to me! My results are phenomenal!! Im just 2 1/2 weeks out and have already gotten so many compliments. In fact after showing my before and after pics to a friend she called and made an appt that day!! Dr. Higgins changed my grandaughters life! Absolute artist. Took her from a g plus to a Perky D. Had her laughing and calmed her down before surgery as he drew on her breasts and explained everything in detail that was going to happen. She went from an xl to a medium. 35 YO, BF 2 Kids, 5'7", 130lbs, 78LB+ Weight Loss... - After two kids, a 75lb+ weighloss, and the quest for the perfect PS... I'm still at a loss for what to do... Implant or no implant? Attached, is my most recent photo taken. Initially, I had only wanted a lift and reduction on my left breast, to correct a 200cc breast asymmetry. After my weightloss, my right breast is a B-cup and the asymmetry as dwindled to only a 50cc difference.So here are my options...OPTION #1: Have the breast lift/reduction only. This may leave me with a large A cup or even a small B. (These are only my guestimates as my PS doesn't speak in "cup sizes".) Live with the correction, and if I'm not happy with the size, go in for a 2nd surgery and have silicone implants placed underneath the muscle.OPTION #2: Have only one surgery, a BL with Augmentation. Because of the width of my breasts the smallest implant I am a candidate for is a 371cc high profile silicone implant. With the right implant having to be approximately 50CCs larger. Here is my dilemma....First, I don't want large breasts, and 371cc and a 425cc implant seems HUGE to me. Second, I'm very active... are my breasts going to get in the way? Third, what if I gain the weight back? Not only will the possibility of a greater asymmetry returning... but now will my breasts be like a DD? My PS is the BEST in town and now is recommending only one surgery instead of two. I'm excited to get the asymmetry fixed but hesitant that with the implants, I will look overweight, or worse my breasts will be HUGE! Based off all this information, and my picture above. I went from wearing frumpy clothing and refusing to take my shirt of during intimacy to a confident young woman. I am patient number 17 on his site if you would like to look at my before and afters. I did do implants one year later as I did not feel full enough up top (what can I say i was 25 living in Las Vegas). They were also amazing! Having a breast reduction was the best thing I ever did for myself. Implants is something to think long and hard about as I do regret that as I am aging and they need to be redone. That is of course of no fault of Dr Edwards. He staff is so friendly, my recovery was a breeze, and he is incredibly down to earth. His office was also beautiful but looks as they have moved. I have thought about having breast augmentation for a very long time. I went to see several doctors and I knew that when Dr. Edwards walked into to the exam room I was in the right place. I had 360 cc smooth saline implants under the muscle for 15 years. I am 5ft 8" tall, and at the age of 23 thought I needed to have at least a C cup to match my curvy figure. Also, I lived in Los Angeles, where all of my friends were getting bigger breasts and it seemed pretty simple. I hated the feeling of having implants in my body the minute I woke up from surgery. I lost a lot of feeling in one of my breasts and nipples, and it changed my sex life for the worse. Even though I liked the way I filled out clothes and bras, I was always aware of these foreign objects in my body, and sleeping on my stomach or having a massage became very uncomfortable. After 10 years of having implants I began having health issues. My thyroid was low, my adrenals were fatigued, I had random aches and pains in my joints, stomach issues, 24 hour a day headaches and dizziness, and the list goes on. I spent 5 years trying to figure out this could be happening. I eat very healthy, exercise, and take very good care of myself. About a year ago, I started reading articles about breast implants causing these sorts of health problems, and that was it for me. I was having pain in my left breast and was due to either have my implants replaced, or I could remove them and be done with it. I chose to remove my implants with no lift, and my doctor performed a full capsulectomy and also did a revision on my right areola scar. My surgery went well with no complications and I could not be happier! Everyone comments to me that I look like I lost 10 pounds, and I look much more athletic. I feel so much lighter, and it was great shopping for small tops instead of large! I feel much healthier, and half of my symptoms have disappeared. I will never regret having my implants removed and am seeing new improvements every week! I feel so much lighter, and it was great shopping for small tops instead of large! I feel much healthier, and half of my symptoms have disappeared. I think in time, all of my symptoms will be gone. Dr Edwards lifted my breasts several years ago and I wanted t take the opportunity to say I totally agree with the other reviewers. I am still happy with my results, his staff are so nice and professional. Dr Edwards really does take the time you need to answer all questions. I have referred him to many friends and I would not go to anyone else!! More
I live in Las Vegas where we have many wonderful and talented doctors, but none come close to Dr. Edwards!! When I met with him and his staff and then found that his wife also works at the practice I knew I was in the right place! They felt like a family unit and they all love what they do! I was super nervous when arriving for surgery, but when he came in and spoke with my husband and I... I was immediately calmed and felt at ease! The breast augmentation went amazingly and it's now been 15 months since my surgery and I couldn't be more happy! Made it to the flat side - I am 40 years old, have 3 children and am married to the love of my life! I could never begin to say enough wonderful things about my husband. He has always loved me (from the time I was 125 pounds and even when I was 208 pounds after my pregnancies). My bad body journey began 22 years ago with the birth of our first son. I didn't gain a lot of weight however at age 19, I had a c-section scar, the c-section pooch and enough stretch marks that my stomach looked like a roadmap. I had 2 more children via c-section and then gained about 70 pounds. I have lost all the weight with the exception of about 8 pounds. Despite the fact I lost all the weight, I have been left with a ton of stomach and hip skin. In fact, at 142 pounds, I wear size 12's and they are somewhat tight and my belly is always prominent. I researched doctors in three different states, including Dr. Garth Fisher in Beverly Hills, Dr. Sean Lille in Scottsdale and ultimately settled on Dr. Terrence Higgins in Las Vegas, Nevada. I learned in my early 20's after getting horrible breast implants from a "billboard doctor" that plastic surgery and bargain shopping do not mix. I am having a full tummy tuck, liposuction, new silicone implants, breast lift/reduction/implant removal and replacement and fat injections in my face. My current implants are saline and are 600 cc's. Unfortunately my billboard doctor convinced me that it was way better to give me ginormous implants instead of a lift. I had my original implants done after my first child, so these implants have suffered through 2 pregnancies. My boobs grew to a size F when I was pregnant. Today, they feel and look like giant bags of wet sand. Dr. Higgins is going to lift my breasts and reduce them to a full C. I have felt like I have been trapped in this awful body for over 20 years. I am incredibly nervous because my surgery is 6+ hours but I feel like my fear has kept me in this body for 20 years. Dr .Higgins uses a pain pump so the pain shouldn't be horrible. Dr. Michael Edwards is the best plastic surgeon ever!!!! He is very gentle, warm, kind and his skills are AMAZING. He is such a well rounded plastic surgeon because he care for all his patients with Heart and passion to his work. There's not enough words to describe how wonderful he is. He is a womderful person and an expert at what he does. I had a breast revision done by him, he is a miracle worker. I interviewed many doctors and decided to get my procedure with him. After the wonderful care that he gave me. My husband and I agreed that he is the BEST there is, second to None!!!! I will not let any plastic surgeon work on me but him. Trust me, no amount of money can buy you the treatment that him and his office staff can provide for you. Because he love what he does and everything does he do with heart, and his skills are awesome. Thank you Dr. Michael Edwards from the bottom heart for being such a caring and amazing doctor. More

I am about 5' 5" and had B size breasts, probably more like an A cup but I would always buy the B cup to feel a little larger. I had two revisions with my original plastic surgeon and both failed. After the second, not only did I have symmastia, but I had also bottomed out and I had several hard knots under my skin that you could even see! I am an out of state patient and Dr.E always took the time to answer my questions via email. After discussing his plan for my procedure he promised that he would operate until he had acheived the very best result that he could for me. My breasts look great, the repair feels sturdier, you cannot see or feel any of my internal sutures (even though he uses 4 rows for support!! --he can suture, that's a fact!) He is very helpful, knowledgeable, and skilled and it's obvious that he loves what he does. His entire office staff is also wonderful, I couldn't be happier with my experience with his office! More

I just had my breast augmentation 5/3/10 and I swear I would do it all over again with Dr. Edwards because it was such a SMOOTH operation. My breast are 2 weeks and everyone in the office says it doesn't even look like I had anything done because they looked and felt so natural! The nurses (especially Jackie) was so personable and excellent in every way. I must have called the office 1000 times and they answered my questions with diligence and professionalism each time. The most important thing - I was referred to 6 different surgeons from girlfriends, and I consulted with Dr. Edwards last. I had NEVER seen his work in person, or knew of anyone who went to him. So Happy with my Breast Augmentation - I have wanted a BA since I was 18 b/c I was a small B cup. I wanted to do this for myself and no one else. I waited until I was almost 25 and did research for YEARS to find the perfect doc.I finally had a Breast Augmentation on Feb 25, 2010 in Las Vegas. I can't express enough how happy I have been with this whole experience. Dr. E and his staff were so patient, answered my many questions and really made me feel comfortable. I just knew that this doc was "the one".I went with 450cc silicone allergan natrelle implants under the muscle. I went from a "B" cup to baby "D" cup. I'm only 2 1/2 weeks post op but I love them already.It was very painful for 3 days after surgery. Do not believe the women that say they didn't have any pain at all, b/c there definetely is pain for a few days.All in all I think the only reason I am happy with my results is b/c I researched this surgery and doctors for over 2 years.
