"My experience at "Plastic Surgery Vegas" practice has been amazing.Everyone I came in contact with was very welcoming and professional. I can not speak highly enough of Dr. Higgins and his close staff (Laura & Kristin). This was to be my 4th breast augmentation in 25years (my 1st with Dr. Higgins), which included reconstruction/lift due to wanting to go smaller with this surgery. After my initial consultation with Dr. Higgins, I felt very comfortable and confident to proceed, but as a nurse, I had a few more questions. His reception had no problem scheduling an additional appointment to address any additional concerns. In my career as a nurse, I have met and worked with many physicians over the years. I have come across very few surgeons as authentic, caring, skilled and talented as Dr. Higgins. I felt that Dr. Higgins really listened to me, and addressed my questions and concerns. As most people are,,,, I was nervous about the surgery but felt very taken care of by Dr. Higgins and his staff all the way into to O.R. and just prior to being put to sleep. In all of my previous surgeries, I had never been met with such attention and compassion up to and beyond my surgery. Additionally, my results are PHENOMENAL, and have far exceeded my expectations. Then of course, Dr Terry Higgins whose ability to keep the rest of the body looking the way we see in magazines and dream to be . It is possible with little discomfort. And now, this same facility which was originally known to me as Anson & Higgins, has expanded with other doctors as talented. Dr. Edwards is nationally renowned for his complicated breast revisions, and I can attest to his skilled talent and determination for perfection to please."
"I had a fleur de lis tummy tuck with abdominal muscle repair, mons lift, and a breast lift with augmentation all done in the same surgery by Dr. Higgins. First, my results are incredible. He removed all of the loose skin from my 90lb weight loss with the tummy tuck and did some abdominal sculpting with the muscle repair. He raised the saggy parts with the mons lift and absolutely snatched my waist with the fleur de lis tummy tuck. I was also very impressed with my breasts, I previously had spiderweb tattoos on them and somehow he was able to keep the tattoos in tact and did not ruin the appearance of them, even with the breast lift and taking skin from the breast. Dr. Higgins is very kind and has great bedside mannerisms, he made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire process. He and his team were easy to reach for any questions and concerns I had. Second, the CNA they sent me home with was incredible. Christy from Post Op Pampering went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during my recovery. There were some very hard days I wouldn’t have been able to get through post surgery if it had not been for her. Christy is very kind and fun to be around, and I felt very safe and comfortable knowing she was helping me during my initial recovery. If I have future surgeries to remove loose skin from arms and thighs I will be specifically requesting Christy is the CNA they send from Post Op Pampering."

"The entire staff at Plastic Surgery Vegas is absolutely amazing. I have seen Dr. Higgins for 2 procedures now. Liposuction and excess skin removal. Dr. Higgins is an absolutely amazing surgeon. During consultation he knows exactly what needs to be done and helps you understand the procedures needed. His skill level is very very apparent in the results. His bedside manner is professional and comfortable at the same time. I deal with Laura on a regular basis when I’m at PSV. She is amazing as well. Getting consultations to start with and then getting bandages removed for follow ups can all be very personal and you could feel uncomfortable. "Dr. Higgins is a true artist. Instead of sculpting in marble, clay or bronze, he sculpts bodies. I have been self-conscious about my belly pooch for 55 years. Finally, I treated myself to a tummy tuck, mons lift and liposuction. During the first consultation, Dr. Higgins knew exactly what I wanted and had been feeling about my body before I even expressed it. It’s as though he read my mind. He is a great listener and explains comprehensively what he suggests doing in surgery. I didn’t feel rushed, and he took the time to answer all the questions. Bedside manners are impeccable. Follow-up is extraordinary. The day after surgery, I removed the girdle to shower and saw the results for the first time. What a phenomenal difference! Though I was swollen, my body dramatically changed. Dr. Higgins said it will take about a year to achieve the final look, but in my head, I’m already there. "What a great office. Everyone I encountered was warm, friendly and answered all my questions with rational and facts. I felt truly cared for. I love that everything was in one location ,and my surgery and appointments were all included in the price. No surprises. Dr. Higgins is awesome. Not only are his surgical skills top notch and award winning, but his personality is open, friendly, kind, honest and funny. My husband came to all my appointments with me just because he enjoyed talking with Dr. Higgins. During my eye lid surgery, a mass was discovered. Dr. Higgins dealt with it and removed it without problem. I required more postop appointments than normal because of it and they were all included at no extra charge. "If you are really wanting to get some work done to improve your looks in a tasteful and natural looking way where you still look like yourself please come see Dr. Higgins. He is absolutely wonderful at what he does. I was recommended to see Dr. Higgins by a friend of mine who had gotten some work done and she looked beautiful but also looked like herself just refreshed. I had upper and lower blepharoplasty done and I’m really happy I got it done. There is no push or pressure by anyone at the medical facility to get anything done, it’s purely just your decision if you want to get anything done. They just give you the information you need.I look and feel the way I always wanted to look which was refreshed and awake. I’m still currently healing but the results look better each day. "The minute I stepped into the office for my consultation, I noticed right away how nice and clean the lobby is and the front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Upon meeting Dr. Higgins, I knew this was the place to get my breast augmentation. They were extremely knowledgeable, professional, positive and I felt very safe. I was prepped very well and loved the extra care they give their patients with a vitamin regiment. On the day of surgery, all the nurses and Dr. Higgins were extremely positive, uplifting and friendly and calmed all my nerves. I've never felt more comfortable going under the knife! "I initially wanted to remove my old implants (breast) but after my consultation I decided to put new ones in and added liposuction. Why liposuction? I am 46 and have a clean diet and do an hour of cardio 5-6 times a week and weight train 4-5 times a week with little change. I had come to the realization it is what it is and the only way to get to my physical goal is to get a little help. The staff especially Laura (Dr. Higgins assistant) made the process from beginning to recovery extremely excepting of all that I will (pre-op) and continue to experience. My decision to get liposuction was a last minute decision and was not at all mentally prepared for it. The recovery process after liposuction had given my anxiety and depression because I looked worst (so I thought so) but after emailing my concerns and seeing Dr. Higgins I was quickly reassured that what I was looking at is 100% normal and temporary as I was still recovering. I am 6 weeks post recovery and I love the "hour glass" figure of which I never had even when I was at my best physical shape; I have always had a "square" shaped torso. My breast are the same size just with new implants; Dr. Higgins did a great job with this area. I still have so much work (exercise & nutrition) to do if I want to maintain and further create a better physique to my liking. I saw this surgical procedure as a huge stepping stone to getting to my personal physical condition. In the beginning I had a little regret to my decision to getting liposuction because I am a caretaker, but now I am very happy I did it and the recovery time did not hinder being a caretaker for too long. Every one will recover differently and the pain tolerant is not equal for everyone but in my personal opinion if you have a serious goal to look a certain way, liposuction will certainly help you get to your goal."
"Dr. Higgins and all of the staff are exceptional!! Getting my body back after multiple pregnancies and other health issues has been a long journey for me. When I finally succeeded at reaching my goal weight, I was thrilled to be able to finally get to do the “mommy makeover.” It’s a big scary decision and finding such a caring and attentive doctor, nurses and staff is difficult. I was impressed by Dr. Higgins consultation where I didn’t feel pushed into anything I wasn’t comfortable with. He listened carefully to the look I wanted to achieve, and he assured me that he wouldn’t do anything he wouldn’t do to his own family. His assistants were more than helpful answering my emails and inquiries quickly. Before, during and after the surgery they were available and checked on my progress. The operating staff was also so sweet and kind and put my nerves at ease, keeping me laughing till I went in. "I had the best experience at Las Vegas Plastic surgery! I was referred to Dr. Edwards from a friend who had exceptional results. I had a week off of work so I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Edwards for a b.a. revision and he was very thorough and professional. I loved that he took his time and also sketched what he recommended on an actual picture of me. I’ve met with several doctors and he clearly was the most knowledgeable and really cared about my results. The staff also let me know they do free skin consultations where they take pictures of your face & show all the sun damage, brown spots, uneven texture, etc. I met with Julie (the next day) who did mine and she was absolutely fantastic! I’ve been going to estheticians for 12 years and she was by far the most knowledgeable clinical esthetician I’ve met with. She was very friendly and made me feel comfortable discussing my skin. I’ve had some skin issues (adult acne) over the past year and she was very knowledgeable on the medications I’ve been taking and was able to make suggestions on what products/ procedures that would work best for my skin. She preformed a dermaplane, extractions and moisturized my face. My skin felt amazing when I left her care, I can’t wait to go back again! "Dr. Higgins is wonderful. Down to earth and an amazing sense of aesthetics. I have a really nice nose but it got slightly broken across the bridge when something fell on it. You couldn't see it in person but you could tell in photos. It made it slightly out of whack but it wasn't bad enough to have surgery. Still, I couldn't stand it. Dr. Higgins fixed it by putting "Filler" in the area where it looked funny in the photos. It looks just like it did before the breakage. He really took his time."

"I love Dr. Higgins! The scars he left me with are impeccable and my results are wonderful. In addition to his top notch skills, he is compassionate, caring and kind. For someone who is taking you under the knife, bedside manner is equally important. "50 and ready to be implant free - Las Vegas, NV - My goal is to have my implants removed. I have 20 maybe more years of life left and there is a lot of things i want to do! The boobs that once gave me the confidence i needed are just in the way and serving me no purpose. I may very well need a lift six months to a year down the road after I heal. I've had over the muscle implants since I was 27, I nursed my daughter for six months at 31. Switched out the saline for silicone almost 10 years ago. Now they just seem heavy and in the way. Updated on 10 Feb 2016: Thank you to everyone that's posted on this site. Looking forward to embracing the old me. My explant is Monday February 15. This is my second set of implants. Dr. Higgins replaced my 1992 saline implants with this silicone pair in 2006. Although is was an improvement i am ready to be free from implants entirely. Updated on 17 Feb 2016: I just got home from Dr Higgins office. The facility and the staff are wonderful. I was pleased to see that he went through my original scar around the nipple :) Looks a bit frightening now but I am so happy to be free of the implant and all the capsule. Updated on 18 Feb 2016: Doc said yesterday to keep the velcro 4" wide strap over the compression bra (that is over a couple of pads) as tight as i can stand it. Drains will come out tomorrow. I changed the pads out today and snapped this photo. Updated on 19 Feb 2016: Updated on 23 Feb 2016: Over my soprts bra i am wearing a 4" elastic velcro band as tight as i can stand it. I Have no breast tissue and alot of skin and tissue that needs to heal and hopefully retract. Right now they still look like the last photo. I only unwrap them long enough for a shower. I'll see Dr Higgins agian in three days. My over the muscle silicone implants were removed through my original nipple incisions so in my case, no tissue to hide a scar under the fold, so that's a plus. A little nervous the fluff fairy may never visit. The best part is the stiff and sore neck that i have lived with for years doesn't hurt and my range of motion has increased by at least 20 percent!! I can hardly wait to go back to pilates, yoga and golf !! Updated on 28 Feb 2016: I'm not seeing much improvement. Three days without compression. I don't have enough tissue for a "aa" cup. You can still see and feel the space where the implants rested. Still sore and sensative to the touch. The silicone implants were removed through insisions below my nipples. Those stittches will desolve on their own eventually. 10 years ago i have "textured" saline implants replaced with this second set. Some of the very little tissue I had came out with those implants. I'm hopeful that next weeks update photo will be and improvement. Really Greatful for all your stories on here. Updated on 8 Mar 2016: I have been massaging. I have been using a manual breast pump as suggested by my PS. The scar tissue is winning. I can't exersize and it seems the rest of me is falling apart too. Okay enough about me. I am happy to be implant free :) It can only get better, right?!? Updated on 28 Mar 2016: Trying to decide if the massaging and breast pump are helping. I can feel the scar tissue teathered to ? the muscle maybe. I see the PS tomorrow."

He is an orthopedic surgeon. The results are excellent. He told me that I would continue to see improvement even 2 years later and he was correct. It is interesting how long it takes for the final rhinoplasty results. My nose is nice and straight and much smaller. No breathing issues either. "I had 360 cc smooth saline implants under the muscle for 15 years. I am 5ft 8" tall, and at the age of 23 thought I needed to have at least a C cup to match my curvy figure. Also, I lived in Los Angeles, where all of my friends were getting bigger breasts and it seemed pretty simple. I hated the feeling of having implants in my body the minute I woke up from surgery. I lost a lot of feeling in one of my breasts and nipples, and it changed my sex life for the worse. Even though I liked the way I filled out clothes and bras, I was always aware of these foreign objects in my body, and sleeping on my stomach or having a massage became very uncomfortable. After 10 years of having implants I began having health issues. My thyroid was low, my adrenals were fatigued, I had random aches and pains in my joints, stomach issues, 24 hour a day headaches and dizziness, and the list goes on. I spent 5 years trying to figure out this could be happening. I eat very healthy, exercise, and take very good care of myself. About a year ago, I started reading articles about breast implants causing these sorts of health problems, and that was it for me. I chose to remove my implants with no lift, and my doctor performed a full capsulectomy and also did a revision on my right areola scar. My surgery went well with no complications and I could not be happier! Everyone comments to me that I look like I lost 10 pounds, and I look much more athletic. I feel so much lighter, and it was great shopping for small tops instead of large! I feel much healthier, and half of my symptoms have disappeared. I think in time, all of my symptoms will be gone.Updated on 20 Oct 2013:I am at almost 4 months now since my surgery, and I am adding new pics of my progress so far. I will never regret having my implants removed and am seeing new improvements every week! I know at this point I will not be getting a lift, and I feel like my breasts have really filled in the last few months. "So Happy to Be Implant Free!!! - Las Vegas, NV - I had 360 cc smooth saline implants under the muscle for 15 years. I am 5ft 8" tall, and at the age of 23 thought I needed to have at least a C cup to match my curvy figure. Also, I lived in Los Angeles, where all of my friends were getting bigger breasts and it seemed pretty simple. I hated the feeling of having implants in my body the minute I woke up from surgery. I lost a lot of feeling in one of my breasts and nipples, and it changed my sex life for the worse. Even though I liked the way I filled out clothes and bras, I was always aware of these foreign objects in my body, and sleeping on my stomach or having a massage became very uncomfortable. After 10 years of having implants I began having health issues. "Made it to the flat side - I am 40 years old, have 3 children and am married to the love of my life! I could never begin to say enough wonderful things about my husband. He has always loved me (from the time I was 125 pounds and even when I was 208 pounds after my pregnancies). My bad body journey began 22 years ago with the birth of our first son. I didn't gain a lot of weight however at age 19, I had a c-section scar, the c-section pooch and enough stretch marks that my stomach looked like a roadmap. I had 2 more children via c-section and then gained about 70 pounds. I have lost all the weight with the exception of about 8 pounds. Despite the fact I lost all the weight, I have been left with a ton of stomach and hip skin. In fact, at 142 pounds, I wear size 12's and they are somewhat tight and my belly is always prominent. I researched doctors in three different states, including Dr. Garth Fisher in Beverly Hills, Dr. Sean Lille in Scottsdale and ultimately settled on Dr. Terrence Higgins in Las Vegas, Nevada. I learned in my early 20's after getting horrible breast implants from a "billboard doctor" that plastic surgery and bargain shopping do not mix. I am having a full tummy tuck, liposuction, new silicone implants, breast lift/reduction/implant removal and replacement and fat injections in my face. My current implants are saline and are 600 cc's. Unfortunately my billboard doctor convinced me that it was way better to give me ginormous implants instead of a lift. I had my original implants done after my first child, so these implants have suffered through 2 pregnancies. My boobs grew to a size F when I was pregnant. Today, they feel and look like giant bags of wet sand. Dr. Higgins is going to lift my breasts and reduce them to a full C. I have felt like I have been trapped in this awful body for over 20 years. I am incredibly nervous because my surgery is 6+ hours but I feel like my fear has kept me in this body for 20 years. Dr .Higgins uses a pain pump so the pain shouldn't be horrible.
