After being recommended to Seonaid fourteen years ago, I became an instant fan and I am now a long time patient/customer of Plastic Surgery Vegas. She has taken the time over the years to adjust my injections to get the optimal results and has even allowed me the opportunity to come back in for tweaks if I wasn’t 100% happy. Seonaid gives me her honest and professional opinions on injections and fillers and was instrumental in making me feel comfortable about moving forward with my lower face surgery with Dr. Silver. Also, she is always booked solid, yet she takes the time to fit me in the nooks and crannies of her schedule when necessary. She makes me feel comfortable, eases my anxiety and I know I will leave happy. Ultimately, it was Seonaid who assured me I would be in capable hands by choosing Dr. Silver for my neck/lower face lift surgery. At my first consultation, I couldn’t have felt more at ease from our initial visit. He was personable and professional as he walked me through the procedure and was up front about my expectations. I think he immediately caught on to my neurotic fears of aging, 😊 and was thoughtful and comforting to my concerns, lessening the intimidation of the surgery. His assistants Stacie and Evan have also been extremely responsive and caring- taking my calls, questions and e-mails pre and post surgery. The surgery center staff was amazing on surgery day and held my hand literally and figuratively. From the anesthesiologist to the night nurse, no box was left unchecked with my successful recovery in mind. Fast forward to approx 3 months post surgery, my perfectionist tendencies wouldn’t let me see past an old thyroid removal scar that was, in my opinion, ruining the otherwise beautiful result of my neck. Dr Silver listened to me, acknowledging my issue, and told me it was a precarious scar revision (not a simple fix), but gave me a safe time frame and agreed to revise the scar. I am now about a week healed from that final step in this process and I am very happy. Six months ago I had loose skin on my neck from rapid weight loss that I felt didn’t match my face or body. Today I am more confident with a tighter and smoother jawline and firmer neck. It’s easy to say that outward appearances shouldn’t be as important as inner beauty- until one day you look in the mirror and realize you need a little help feeling your true self. Dr. Silver did my lipo and is the only person I let do my botox and fillers. My surgery was amazing and I look better than ever. His honesty is refreshing and is why I feel my best. He took many more photos and drew on my body to highlight my asymmetry and how he’d approach the surgery to give me the best, most perfect result. The images were available to me for review from home via their patient portal. Believe me, not all surgeons have this available and it’s so useful as you’re evaluating your decision and to review the actual photos from the operating room. Dr. Edwards has a wonderful bedside manner and I felt such confidence in him that I knew I’d found the best surgeon by far. I am experienced with two previous breast surgeries as well as an eye lift, laser work, Botox and fillers in Palm Springs and Newport Beach. I did have to postpone my surgery twice due to family illnesses. Everyone in the office was understanding and very kind to me as I went through my delays. I’m three months post op now and absolutely delighted by the results. Dr. Edwards is a perfectionist (even though he reminds me my breasts are “sisters, not twins”) and as we’ve examined my scaring he’s assured me that after a year he can improve my scars under local anesthesia right in the office. When I researched having plastic surgery, Anson Higgins and Edwards was recommended as the best in Las Vegas. A trusted professional assured me that this is where Doctors and their wives go because the physicians are the most experienced, and the results are outstanding. What I like most is the conservative approach, favoring the more “natural” look. It’s easy for doctors to tell their patients: “You could use some here, some there...”, and trust they have your best interest—not always the case. Some practitioners don’t know how to say “no” entirely and take your money. That explains why you see so many homogenized caricatures of women with overinflated lips and unnatural facial contours. If that’s what you’re into, don’t waste your time, this is not the place. On the less invasive side, I’ve had a facial performed by Whitney. The skin assessment was so comprehensive (ugh! more hyperpigmentation and sun damage than I thought). After seeing my glowing skin after my treatment, I think I’m opting to do more in-office facials. I forgot how relaxing they were… My philosophy when it comes to “assistance” is to restore, improve, and enhance—the something’s different (in a good way), but I’m not certain what it is look—not exaggerating and altering ones face entirely. I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Andrew Silver and I would highly recommend him for plastic surgery! He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and I didn't feel rushed at all, he took his time with me and helped me understand what he could do to help improve my appearance. He was very honest with me and told me I wasn't ready for a facelift just yet but he suggested doing some fillers and botox for now. He did an amazing job with both the fillers and the botox and I look forward to seeing him again when I'm ready for my facelift! Definitely the doctor to see for plastic surgery in Las Vegas! More
