Fast forward to approx 3 months post surgery, my perfectionist tendencies wouldn’t let me see past an old thyroid removal scar that was, in my opinion, ruining the otherwise beautiful result of my neck. Dr Silver listened to me, acknowledging my issue, and told me it was a precarious scar revision (not a simple fix), but gave me a safe time frame and agreed to revise the scar. I am now about a week healed from that final step in this process and I am very happy. Six months ago I had loose skin on my neck from rapid weight loss that I felt didn’t match my face or body. Today I am more confident with a tighter and smoother jawline and firmer neck. It’s easy to say that outward appearances shouldn’t be as important as inner beauty- until one day you look in the mirror and realize you need a little help feeling your true self. Scars? What scars!! I am almost 52 & had a Lower Face Lift with Fat Transfer to the cheeks/face. I am almost three months post op. The results are wonderful- took ten years off easily. Dr. Silver and his staff are amazing at making you feel comfortable during the process. The results are subtle and soft - he masters the "Natural" look - & makes you look like a younger version of your true self with no distortion or "pulled too tight Fake" look. Dr. Anson did a super job on my face and neck. I don't look like I just had a full face lift but people tell me I look great. I have a few scars behind my ears and one tiny scar under my chin. My face feels and looks fresh and soft without all the sagging skin around my mouth and eyes and my neck looks tight. The recovery time is short. I had my stitches and bandages removed the day after surgery and essentially watched Netflix for a week while I waited for the swelling to go down. The follow-up care with Dr. Anson and her staff is also excellent and they addressed all my questions. The surgery is worth every dollar; it's comforting to know going in that you're getting the best! More
I love Dr. Higgins! The scars he left me with are impeccable and my results are wonderful. In addition to his top notch skills, he is compassionate, caring and kind. For someone who is taking you under the knife, bedside manner is equally important. You realize during your consultation and subsequent pre-op appointments how incredibly sweet he is which lends to your ultimate peace all the way through recovery. He always made himself available for questions before my surgery and for any questions or concerns during my recovery. I consulted (only) with Dr. Higgins on this last surgery because during my recovery from a prior out of state surgery 3 years before this one, I wanted to be seen by a local surgeon just to take a peek at my incisions and make sure everything was still looking Ok. I had called his office and they fit me in without any issue or consultation fee! I was very grateful. So when it was time for my next surgery I met with Dr. Higgins, scheduled surgery and I think he is amazing. Side note - His medial assistant, Laura, is a doll! Love her and you will too. And once I had to see Dr. Edwards on an unscheduled visit because Dr. Higgins was on vacation and he was equally a love. Still Up in the Air - Las Vegas, NV - I'm not sure about two things! I'm not sure if I want to get silicone or saline? Also I was Recommended to get a Crescent lift but I really don't think I need a lift, I know it's all up to me but I kind want to take the doctors advice on what to get done. I have had two children and want to be bigger than what I was before children. Going from a 34D to a 34B with them. Want to feel sexy again with a D or bigger. 40yrs Old ,2kids That Are Grown and I Want my Body Back - Las Vegas, NV - I'm having a breast reduction and extended tummy tuck..this is finally something I will do for myself after raising kids and doing for others for over 20yrs. Glad that my boys and husband support this decision. I think I'm excited!! Also before this I lost 50 plus pds. decided I had been a big girl way too long time to get it under control. Updated on 7 May 2016: So today is 2nd day since surgery yesterday I was very tired I had to go bac to doc so they could look at everything and change dressing and take catheter out. So today I'm walking more to restroom but still tired and pain has calm down a lot since yesterday. Updated on 10 May 2016: Had another doctors appt today walked in today they looked at everything say everything is healing perfect. I feel way better than I did first day of course. I'm so in love with my boobs Updated on 21 May 2016: Been 2wks and 2days since surgery still swollen and plus I'm bloated this week cause I Hv a monthly visitor. But my recover has been good no complaints. I Hv been going to doctor once a week for post visits next week we talk scar treatment. I think my results so far are great can't wait to see when its no longer swollen. I'm still n a binder that my doctor gave me last week a new one and a bra also. I love this place I Hv not had to go purchase anything extra at all. Only thing I got before surgery that I'm glad I had was a toliet seat riser it came in handy. Everything else has been provided gauze bandages binders bras u name whateva they wanted me to use they provided u have to love it. Anyhow happy healing everyone!
